Strategies
to lead change and manage conflict.
- I helped develop a gang awareness program for our
teachers including two workshops on gangs led by ex-gang
members. I collaborated with my grade chairs in the
development of a school-wide yearlong character development
program including anger management, peacemaking and problem
solving skills, role modeling, and bullying and gang
prevention. The plan is below in word document format and in
a very user friendly website version. The website version
was intended to be a "live" format allowing for regular
updates to the plan. I used my role as the Administrative
Advisor to the Grade Chairpersons as a leadership opportunity to
collaboratively develop the program.
